POSSIBLE BURGLARS ON THE PROWL???

POSSIBLE BURGLARS ON THE PROWL???

Postby costamama » Thu May 21, 2020 11:14 am

I would just like to make people aware that about 15 minutes ago someone tried to open our front gate (which is always locked). My husband immediately went to see who it was from a higher vantage point and there were two women walking away and one of them actually said Hello to him. They then got into a light blue Citroen C3 and drove off.

This is the second time this week that this has happened so it would seem that someone is perhaps on the prowl checking to see if people are at home.

I live in the area at the top of Avenida Costa Azul to the left of Harry´s Bar.

It was very quick - my husband thinks there was a C and J and W but not absolutely sure. One of the women was quite slim and the other one was bigger.

Thinking back to past posts about this sort of thing - these people have possibly been around before.

Sorry no more information. The best thing is if they do try your particular gate - try and make sure they know you are aware of it.

this post takes me back many months when some poster was telling us how safe it is round here I guess it is apart from the constant threat of burglaries

There is not enough information to give the Police. I am just trying to make people aware because having lived here over 20 years I am well aware of the little tricks that these type of people do to gain access to your property. It makes sense to keep your gate locked.

Thanks for making us aware. Pays to be extra vigilant right now as these scum bags have been laying low for months and will be watching people’s movements.

I would highly recommend installing the alertcops app on your phones if you want to refer things to the police in Spain but dont think it worthy of calling them.
