We also got quoted 5% with a minimum of €5000 plus Iva

Mind you I posted my villa on here last week and had loads of time wasters asking for pictures and not even having the courtesy to reply no thanks .....now on with an agent

No, it was a flat 3% plus IVA.

I’m a property developer I gb. I walk around and see the for sale signs and stare in disbelief. I’m dying to knock on the door sometimes. A lot are disgraceful. I sold my property here in 3 weeks with 3 offers. Some folks are clueless. Someone tried to sell a house privately to me , they both had false legs( one each) left lying around with the spare swim legs, there was porn magazines all over and the pool looked like something a swamp monster would live in.

We have had our house on the market for a while we were promised from several estate agents, it wont take long to sell, it has been 8 months, when we have viewings it looks the same as when they took the photos, very tidy, freshly dusted, clean smelling. The most annoying thing we find is how two faced people are, saying what a lovely house, exactly what they are looking for, then when they leave the house and speak to the agent they say the complete opposite. Nothing worse when you are trying to sell you house and all you get are time wasters. They have a copy of the details of the house, so they know what is on offer, ours is a three bed, three bath corner plot villa, quiet location, and we get silly comments like, oh you have three bathrooms, oh did not realise it was a corner plot. Very, Very frustrating. Rant over
