Quality of new build houses...

The new builds are SUPPOSED. to be a much higher standard in terms of complying with building standards than the one we brought 16 years ago. But that photo looks awful. And the the Lego block towns springing cup all over Benijofar and Quesada have no over hanging roofs to divert the filthy rain we get here. After 6 months most of them look grubby and tired. So glad we brought a pretty Conchita that still looks good and has a bit of character!

I watched the progress of a new build up near Big Shopping and it was exactly the same

looks nice now it is finished though

the idea of the r-bar reinforced concrete frame and sits on a reinforced concrete raft, is suppose to be resistant against earth tremor's,so the whole buiding shakes and not just part,so called preventing any collapse,...…….I have my doubts,looking at the block works,

It is the concrete structure that will prevent the house collapsing in an earthquake the blocks will shake loose
