Quesada Main Street changes

We need to stop talking about the possibility of a McDonald's opening in the high street !

Not only are there some forum members who don't want one and who would never step inside one, some of them also want us to stop talking about McDonald's on this thread. This is in spite of the fact that the types of establishments in the high street directly affect the numbers of visitors and affects parking requirements.

DO you think that when the Macdonalds arrives in Quesada, they will colour the entrance arches to the main street yellow,sponsered by Macdonalds of course,what a good advert for them that would be! has anyone else thought that possible?

I think that's extremely unlikely.....even a big fan like me would suggest that's undoubtedly a step to far.

But aren't the arches currently painted a dirty yellow colour ?

The big changes are going to be that the name Ciudad Quesada will be change to Pueblo Maccy (well, it's not really a city).

The big arches on the entrance to the town will be removed and replaced with:



Santander and all the other banks will be forced to move elsewhere and these will replace them:



Oscar's will, of stay but the Old Don Carlos will be replaced with:



And the New Don Carlos will be be replaced with:



The Chinese shops will go and these will take their place:



And the newly form expat chat site called Talk Maccy will lose the For Sale and Wanted sections in favour of these:



That should please some and, who knows, they may never have to go back to UK if this replaces the Mas y Mas:

Even London's Oxford Street has a McDonald's so that's definitely a move upmarket.
But oh dear Marcliff.....be careful what you wish for.
