Yes I did. Because I thought it was relevant to the improvements taking place along Quesada sunset strip. But there are people who have said they want it to stop and the thread to focus on other aspects of the work. Whilst I strongly disagree with their opinion of McDonald's I defend their right to have a different view to mine.

We all know the chances of a McDonald's appearing here is somewhat remote so the whole subject is rather 'tongue in cheek'. Feel free to carry on without me.

Well, to keep the thread on track, I suppose we should restrict the conversation to the width and colour of the paving, the thickness of the tarmac and, the roundabout.

What happened to the rumour a while back that the plans were to pedestrianize the whole main street.

Are there any plans to install electric car charging points or do they already exist ?

There are a couple of electric charging points near the new Consum on Avda Guatemala and Avda del Salvador. I think the one on Avda Guatemala is actually on the Consum car park as there are a few green bays marked out. The Aldi site by the other Consum also says they have charging bays but, to be hones, haven't noticed them.
Not seen any info on the new area but there are a lot around with quite a few in Torrevieja. Other towns, like Catral, Dolores, San Miguel also have them but it would be good if the car parks had them fitted, I suppose.
Probably lots around and maps are available online.
