No parking in some areas on the street and several roads closed off for road works. They have cleared the ground opposite the tobacco shop and that will be temporary parking though no entrance to it as yet, just a P Provisional sign up.

Some trees gone but the roots not yet pulled out and lots of plant equipment in the side roads all getting geared up.
The outside area at Don Carlos was one of the first to go last week and they were removing the big advertising signs stuck on the pavements outside that area as well.

They also seem to be re-paving lots of areas not in the main street and, hopefully, will do the roads where the utility companies (gas/fibre etc) have dug trenches and not repaved properly.

Road markings have been put down on the road. Avenida De Las Naciones. Think they will be starting works soon.

They must have expanded their road budget! quite a bit of white lining in our area (Lo Marabu) but rather random, also I think they might, at long last, be putting in a roundabout at the strange junction near the blue and white houses where no one knows who has right of way,

Went past that bit today. Just doing the pavements, I think. A roundabout would be excellent but it didn't look like they'd marked out anything for that.
With 3 parts of the junction marked Give Way and the other 2 parts as Stop it's rather difficult to know who goes. I've seen 3 or 4 vehicles all stopped and looking at each other wondering whose turn it is.

That junction by the blue and white houses is quit straightforward.

If your greeted by a stop sign you stop then, enter the junction if it’s clear ie., no one in the junction.

If your approach is greeted by the give way sign, you give way to whomever is already in the junction ie., anyone who has already crossed their respective stop line (solid line) or give way line (broken line).

If someone doesn’t understand that, perhaps they shouldn’t be on the road!
