Quiron Hospital results

Do any of you lovely Talk Quesada people know if I have results from a Radiografía and Ecografía from Quiron Hospital whether I can take them to my own GP in Algorfa and would he act on them accordingly? I am asking the question as I am unsure if the two (Private and National health) work alongside each other or not at all.

I will be interested to know as just had CT & MRI done have an appointment there to discuss results but need to take them to my doctor in Guardamar should I need treatment. Please let me know.

I got a private prescription from cardiologist at Quiron last year. Got my SIP card in December and Lo Marabu have agreed to prescribe the same meds listed on the private script. One of my meds is €90 every 28 days so it’s a big relief to get that one on the SIP for €9.

I recently had treatment and scans at Quiron and they worked very closely with my GP and the Torrevieja Hospital. Also, if you have results that need to go to your GP, they can normally access them on their own computers. If there's any doubt, ask for a copy on a memory stick .......... they are your results so they can't exactly say no.

As you already have your results you can take them to your GP in the Centro de Salud. He can act on them if it is medication you need but if he needs to act on the X-ray etc., he will normally make an appointment for you to have an X-ray with the Natiional Health Service so that it is on his computer. I have done this and it has worked when I had spinal arthritis X-rays done at Quiron. Good luck, keep at it if they do not want to know as you have a SIP card and are entitled to the service with your own doctor although I admit that Quiron is quicker when you are in pain.
