What does everyone do when its like this with an 8yo!?
Go home tomorrow but our son is going a bit stir crazy with all this rain the last few days. With everything geared up for outdoor living /fun we are running out of ideas!! Lego, done. Ps3, done. Colour pens, run out. Roads/pavements, dangerous. Movies, watched.
Any ideas?

It doesn't happen that often. We have had this type of weather over the years only in April (rare ) and late September/October (less rare) and not every year!
It's just a shame when it spoils holidays but usually as quickly as it came it will go and the sun will shine, everything will dry up very quickly and all back to normal.
This is/was forecast for 5 days but generally Gota Fria weather only lasts a couple of days.

I should imagine there is a lot of unhappy kids visiting family over easter who are enviously seeing their mates back in the UK positing up pics of shorts and T-shirts back there!
Have you thought about Quesada bowling? I should imagine it will be rammed (as will the shopping centres and IKEA etc..)

The Crevilente rd had been closed and probably still is as have been a lot of others. Torrevieja residents have been advised to stay in unless it's an emergency

Calm down folks it will only last for a few days and it's well needed! As Jan said it is very rare and was well forecasted. It will be all gone by Mon and then people can access the damage. In a months time it will mostly be forgotten about and some will he moaning about the heat.

Unfortunately the houses aren't built for rain. If you have a leaky roof dont rely on insurance paying out.
