Take care with AKI we bought a double wardrobe from them recently and the delivery charge was excessive. If I remember correctly about 80€. I’d try the rotten shop on the right as you enter Los Montesinos

Have a look at Conforama and Hnos Garcia. Garcia are free delivery, not sure how much Conforama charge. Alternatively Lumsdens Auctions might have some decent stuff.

Be very careful where you buy rattan furniture as thr cheaper stuff really does not last. We had a table & chairs we bought off ebay lasted two years ok didn't pay a huge amount if money for it and two reclining chairs that did cost a lot of money out Jysk and didn't last twelve months before they fell to bits. Bought a table chairs ftom the siesta group in there sale had it almost four years doesn't look any different to the day we bought it you definitely get what you pay for here with that sort of thing.

Yes, I agree with most of the above replies. Sometimes in life you have to pay a little or a lot more than you originally planned. You must consider that the intense sun in Spain would rot any cheap outdoor furniture. We bought a lovely little outdoor suite in Garcia 4 years ago. We are careful with it and bring it inside when we go home however, the intensity of the sun has now burnt through some of the man made rattan and I expect it will go down hill steadily...sadly! We have decided to buy a good quality round rattan table with arm chairs and use it for earring and relaxing. I saw a lovely one at Euronics ( used to be Red Der) off the avenue de Valencia, beside Mercadona. The cost on it was €850 and I think they deliver is free of charge. They had quite an assortment of outdoor furniture at affordable prices.
That said, I will now go and take a look at the Siesta Group and Oceans direct when we are out in September. We bought our little suite in Garcia’s and it was certainly one of their cheapest but looks great. Their selection is vast! Definitely visit the show room in Avenue de Valencia...they close in the afternoon for the Siesta.
Good hunting.

After a lot of searching, we bought in Alcampo, delivery was only about €15 I think. I did find that there is a lot of overpriced tat around.

In terms of UV stability I don't know whether it is better to buy synthetic, or real rattan. I went with synthetic in the end as real rattan needs periodic maintenance. Hopefully what I bought will last a few years.
