Reachout charity

Reachout is a charity based in Torrevieja a 3 min walk from Iceland so not in the town centre. It helps needy families by supplying food and welfare. They have a social worker who helps them with the social welfare side. They provide breakfast and a hot cooked meal everyday Monday - Fri for the homeless and less fortunate people who cannot afford food. They provide around 40-50 lunches for the homeless.
They also have shower facilities and provide clean clothes if needed. Reachout rely on donations of clothes, bric-a-brac,furniture, blankets, bedding, shoes even electrical items, anything that can make some money, most things really. These are then sold in their charity shop and all money goes towards helping these people.

Furniture and big loads can be collected. To make arrangements for large collections please call the office on 965 71 30 63 and they can be found at Calle Bella Antonia 1, Torrevieja. The shop is open from 10 - 2 (1.30 to be on the safe side)

They also require volunteers. If you have a morning to spare, please think of them.

How to get there from Iceland please. ?

Walking you'd cross the road from Iceland and walk down to the road where a kebab shop is on one corner and the pool shop the other. Turn left there and it's second on the right. If you're driving turn right at Aldi at the lights just past the garage turn right and come back on yourself, down to the lights, straight across between kebab and pool shop and it's 2nd right.

I’ve got lots of bedding and towels I can bring there .
Do they want clothes.
