Receiving Post.

Anyone having problems receiving post. We have had very little since December.

We don’t tend to receive much post anyway. All bills are sent by email and bank statements and credit card statements are paperless nowadays. Even hospital appointments and test results are sent by email, so after that there’s not too much left to receive.
But living next to the post boxes, I know our postman delivers 3 or 4 days per week.

We hire a box at the post office which costs about a cup of tea a week. No excuses for not delivering there.

never had post for more than 15 years

We have had birthday cards from U.K. recently some opened and some we were told had been sent did not arrive. I'm afraid these things are fairly common. The have been posts on here about complaining to the Correos management which seem to have put things right at least for a while.

All I get now is flyers. Never get any proper post at all, last time was 5 yeas ago. I’m thinking of gluing the flap to stop the flyers..

Make a point of being friends with the local postman, put your name on the postbox and drop him a few euro at Christmas for a drink, ido and have no problems with my post, I know we shouldn’t have to do this but it’s Spain!

Our sone sent a Mother’s Day card two weeks before the date but still waiting. Last year sent the card two weeks before and got it on time. Luck of the draw here.
