We use a Tefal actifry, use it all the time instead of deep frying, much healthier.

I have large Breville one. I virtually cook every meal in it. It will even cook part baked bread. I make lasagne, cauliflower cheese. Roast dinners. All meat & roasted vegetables.
Personally I don't think the upright small dish versions are very good as you can't cook a meal for two in them

I’ve got a Tower one and it’s used four or five times a week. Use it for chips, baked potatoes, roasted veg, sausages, bacon, burgers, chicken, fish, making cakes, pies, crumbles etc etc. Think of it as a small oven, ideal capacity for cooking for two and more economical than switching on the main cooker. Even back in the U.K. it was safe enough, because of the timer and easy enough to be used by “starving” teenagers, even if all they cooked was stuff out of the freezer. I used to have a Tefal Actifry when it first came out it was very rarely used, never got past the sausage and chips stage.

We have just bought our 2nd Actifry, our 1st lasted 10 years. We did try one of the cheaper "drawer type" ones but found chips etc. didn't brown all round like actifry does as it has the paddle to turn the contents continuously . . .
