Ring needs cutting off

Got to wait now until i do a big shop as don't use floss only use those picks with floss on the end. He's convinced it won't work ad the knuckle is huge

I used to work in a jewellers in the UK and used the thread method, using wool, successfully many times. Unfortunately looking at your photo, I doubt it would work if the joint is arthritic. You stand the chance of it getting stuck on the widest part. If it is affecting the blood supply I would suggest a call to the medical centre, obviously taking all necessary precautions.

That's what I said, pop down to the fire station but he doesn't want to bother them at this time with all whats going on.

Had to have my wedding ring cut off most jewellers will do it.

That's where I suggested going the Friday before lockdown but he said "Not now, I'll get it done next week" Now they are all closed.
