Rojales Ayuntamiento

Rojales Ayuntamiento

Postby Suzana Randall » Sat Feb 27, 2016 3:11 pm

Hello good people of Quesada. Both my husband and I need to renew our SIP card but my husband was told that you can only do this on a particular day of the week. Is this right? And do anybody know what the opening times for the Ayutamiento please?

The lady at the town hall who deals with SIP cards is there Monday to Thursday mornings. You need to have an up to date padron (within 3 months) which you can do upstairs.

It is only valid if it is within 3 months of the date of issue. If it's over 3 months then yes, you have to renew it. Doesn't take 2 minutes.

Ask the lady but I'm sure she'll ask you to pop upstairs and renew it.
Every time you do something that requires the padron then it has to be within 3 months of the date, even buying a car. Of course, she may just renew it on the basis of it being an update but I had to do it when I became a pensionista in my own right instead of a beneficiario.

You may get several temporary SIP cards before the permanent one comes through. My husband had to renew every six months for a year or 18 months, but then the proper one arrived. No idea why!
