Santander Bank

The UK Financial Watchdog has just fined the above bank £107.7 million for irregularities in combatting money laundering.
Could be that anyone banking with them could find their charges going up ?

Santander Bank UK is completely separate from Santander ES. They come under tie same parent company but are separate entities.

I've been with Santander UK for around 15 years and never ever had any charges only credit interest. All banks screw up occasionally. I always thought that their process for me gaining on line access to my account was extremely lacking in security when compared to other large banks.....but, hey, I'm not an expert. If you want to see a bank that gets fined big time, check up on Barclays.
