Well Anne, if you are half a mile away, in a residential area, you don’t really want, or expect, to take part in someone else’s enjoyment. Not that I’d image it being enjoyment at those volume levels.

Chiefs is at the end of the street next to a road and then fields, not too near any homes. I don’t know what you heard but the band on sat were excellent! I’ve heard them a few times before, one of the music acts that played there a few days before said it was the first time since March that they had played due to lockdown, so good for them getting some work!

Time and time again one restaurateur’s lack of self discipline spoils it for everybody. I guarantee these people will cause a crackdown on entertainment, all over Quesada.
It’s possible to have music and entertainment at a sensible level without imposing it on people in neighbouring establishments.

Outdoor music at the bars is illegal, but the police turn a blind eye to it if there are no complaints.
The problem is the bars that think the volume should be so loud that the whole town should hear it.
If they moderated it so only their own customers could hear it, there would be no trouble.
But if someone complains all the bars could be stopped - and of course they'll blame the complainer, rather than just being sensible in the first place.
Some bars pay a lot of money getting architect reports and building upgrades to be legal and get an indoor music licence & this is not fair on them.

Perhaps you should look at the satellite image on Google maps, draw an imaginary circle around Chiefs with its perimeter on Calle Orense (Dona Pepa) and see how just many properties were impacted by the thoughtless, greedy proprietors of Chiefs.
