Securitas Direct, Torrevieja

Securitas Direct is expensive and no good at all. The service is horrible.
Since I bought this house in Quesada they installed the larm and I specifically asked for animal detection because I have a dog.
They promised they had that.
Since then (been nearly 3 years) they have been not able to have it to work.
Every time I go out and put the larm, if the dog moves to other room, the alarm will go off, and they charge me for that!
So I have to close in the dog in a room to be able to put the larm in the house.
I have friends with similar problems, and even when larm goes off they don't call the police, nobody comes.
Is one of the worse alarm companies EVER!
I'm going to change them as soon as possible.

Tell them you are not going to pay the fee if the dog sets the alarm off, you've asked them to sort it out. Contact them via facebook I've always had good results from them that way. Ask for a reduction in your monthly payment too, I did and got a reduction.

I use Prosegur. I am in the UK for a while and I had an alarm activation on my glassed in balcony area. For some reason the camera in that area could not be activated by the alarm company. They informed the police of a possible intrusion and sent a motorcyclist to meet the police at my home.
Prosegur accessed my premises with keys that they hold, carried out a repair to the faulty camera and telephoned me to assure me all was well.
From what I understand from friends I pay roughly the same as they pay Securitas.
What price peace of mind?
Prosegur have given me excellent service for many years.
