Selling gold

I have some gold jewellery that I would like to sell! Can anyone recommend a Jewellers that would be interested?

I would recommend Paul at Quesada gold, He is on the top floor of the small shopping arcade by Quesada fish and chips. I would also take it to another place so you can compare prices but this would need to be done on the same day and the prices go up and down daily. I've always found Paul to be fair.

Twice now we have sold "old gold" & we got a better deal from a gold buyer in Almoradi. His little shop is in the next street to the one with all the cafes where people gather after wandering around the Saturday market, sorry i can't remember the name of the shop but we got a fair bit more from him than anyone else offered. You must take your passport for identification & he will pay you in cash on the spot.

I would be inclined to try and weigh it yourself first and check the karat by the hallmarks too because you have no idea of it's true value, so you could be offered a figure that could be vastly less than it's true worth...I have always used Lois Jewelry in Birmingham...Google them
So here are the current gold scrap values...
375 is 9k ... current scrap value £15.60 per gram..
585 is 14k...current scrap value £24.25 per gram..
750 is 18k...current scrap value £31.20 per gram
An average wedding ring weighs about 4 to 7 grams depending on size.
Hope this gets you the true value....should give you some idea of what you should be getting...

Hi the shop is called Compro Oro on Calle Larramendi,completely agree best prices paid we have found.
