SO..2 sets of rules then ..!!!

I think there might be a few unhappy people when Dom is made Lord Cummings of Durham .

I can't believe anyone is defending him. I doubt very much that they'd be defending Diane Abbott had the circumstances been the same.

Theres always been 2 sets of rules, how come its taken until now for people to realize, its a daily occurance,

I think that this has shown the problems of the UK advice over Covid-19

"You are in lockdown.. but you can go out .. exercise, ride a bike..etc.. stay at home, unless you have to go out.. stay away from parks, unless you need to walk or run.. etc etc.. if you don't you might or might not get fined--"

If you are not CLEAR about the rules you are asking for people to reinterpret them.. and that is what has happened here..

Cummings could have hired a nurse locally, that is obvious.... but he decided to exploit the woolly rules and go to his family 250 miles away..

There has been no clear direction... just.. " do what you think is right.."

That is no way to lead..

If Cummings and his wife were both ill why undertake such a journey? Would you consider driving fir 5 hours, risk spreading the disease to elderly parents, celebrate mother’s birthday on one visit and your wife’s birthday in the next visit? When I am ill I just want to curl up and sleep. One reason given was childcare, doesn’t wash as Cumming’s wife has a sister living close by in London. Pure selfishness on ?Cumming’s part, I wonder why Boris gives such support?

Cummings may have something on the whole cabinet. Surely they had daily video conference calls etc, and would have known where Cummings was. All therefore implicated for keeping stum.
