Standing order transfers using Wise.

Standing order transfers using Wise.

Postby Elpando » Mon Oct 04, 2021 4:13 pm

Hi. I have an account with WISE that I use periodically to transfer monies into my Bankia account.
Does anyone know how to set up a regular Standing Order type transfer into Bankia using WISE so that it satisfies their criteria for reducing bank charges. At the moment we need to transfer in a minimum of 700 euros a month but it has to be via a standing order etc. Not just a monthly personal money transfer. TIA

When we was with Sabadell we asked them to set a monthly d/debit up with Santander UK,which they did.I would imagine your bank would do the same. We did it in branch in Spain.you may be better transferring all your d/debits to wise as we did to save any bank charges in future.

You have to log into your account on the web, rather than through the app, and set up a "scheduled transfer" there.
