the granarys of Europe are full, the killing lines in abbatiors are working at full capacity, farmers breed and rear cattle twelve months in advance, crops are being planted and being harvested, the markets are thriving, Self isolation? whos policing that,? over heard a elderly couple in Lidl yesterday say to someone "we not seen you for a week,as we have bad colds but we thought we better come out and get stocked up,they were sneezing there heads off, the guy stepped back 4 paces, so people not bothered about spreading it around, if you get it, you get it ,and hopefully get over it, Supermarkets should have security on their doors to stop disease spreaders from entering, and make using hand sanitizer compulsory on entering,

All the markets around here have been stopped and I did notice Carrefour had a large hand sanitizer for use just before you enter and a large roll of kitchen roll to wipe your hands and trolleys. Haven't seen that in other supermarkets. I've never thought baskets and trolleys were ever clean'ish as they sit their kids in them with nappies on and shoes on, I think that's awful. I did complain to Lidl's head office by email about my local store and they did actually clean them.

The way the pound is heading south people won't be able to afford to stock pile stuff.
By the way, money is one of the biggest spreaders of this thing. If any of you want to be safe and get rid of it, leave it all in a plastic bag by the bins near the health centre. I will gladly arrange for its disposal.

Don't thank me, just doing my public duty.

Good to know they were sneezing, seeing as sneezing isn't a sign of Covid-19.

Looks like the afternoon is the wrong time to go shopping. Even Consum was low on the meat counter, chicken etc. Very little fruit and veg (no potatoes or tomatoes) and Aldi was the same. Several people with packed trollies and one bloke with a whole trolley full of toilet rolls in Aldi.
We were going to El Zoco on Sunday but looks like that'll be off so thought we'd get some from the supermarkets.
Ah, well. Perhaps early tomorrow morning.
