In general would agree that people don't have sense, but why did she walk round ,was she on her own, was there emergency in hers sons place and she needed to gain entry,or was she just out for stroll.?? All questions

Should I go to one of my neighbours which is around the back from me. Her husband died 6 weeks ago, she's 78, lives alone. I got some bits for her when I got my shopping Saturday, knocked on her door and left it there. Can I do the same next time I go shopping? Hopefully that's not being thick selfish or a gobshite.

if any emergency like water damage etc ,you cant get anyone out to fix it anyway so pointless, she said to another neighbour over the balcony wall, she just had to get out, don't we all,
no problem with helping a elderly neighbour with shopping that's a valid reason,

I’m a strong advocate that the isolation is but at the same time , I think what your doing. Is very considerate , and human , to care for another in a worse situation than you ..and you think you are helping , but are you ? This is the question with loads of options ! You save her from going out for her messages ..yeh ? stop her making contact with “more “ people than she would with you ..ie you are making contact with her but she is less likely to catch from others .:.Yeh? So I’m agreeing with you , you are Lessing the possibilities of her catching the virus ..yeh ? But here’s the catch 22 ...if YOU contract with the virus while shopping for your and her you pass it to her .I think probably I would do the same as you , but no matter what you do , it’s Russian roulette and there s more bullets getting loaded to the chambers as we go ...Short versión no easy answer ,and we ve got to make this up as we go ?..Yeh?

I can now take her out in the car if I want so she can do her own shopping but I'm not going to, she's then got a bigger chance of catching it.

If you are referring to the article on the N332 site then i would exercise caution as there is some confusion as to if it only applies to taxis & private hire vehicles & NOT to the general public. It is all very confusing & i for one will wait for more clarity on the subject before risking taking a passenger.
