I'm sure the chemist will do antiseptic cream, that's what Sudocrem is, if you have an empty pot the chemist will check out an alternative

Yes, there is a Spanish equivalent. Duolax or something like that. Exactly the same ingredients as Sudocrem and comes in squeezy tube at half the price.
Just ask the pharmacy for the Sudocrem equivalent.

No sudocrem equilvalent is definitely not duolax. Duolax is medication to help with constipation.

It was early (for me) and I did say "something like",
It's actually Ducrem, not duolax.
Now you've made me go all the way upstairs to check the medicine cupboard and I actually got up there without thinking "what did I come up here for?" which could be a first.

Sudocream is not a primary antiseptic. Its contains a water-repellent base (consisting of oils/waxes); protective and emollient agents; antibacterial and antifungal agents; and a weak anesthetic.
It exact composition is
Excipients 79.2% water-repellent base
Zinc oxide, EP 15.25% astringent, soothing, protective
Lanolin (hypoallergenic) 4.00% emollient
Benzyl benzoate, BP 1.01% pesticide
Benzyl alcohol, BP 0.39% mild anesthetic, disinfectant
Benzyl cinnamate 0.15% antibacterial, antifungal
Its a topical lotion, ie used to treat skin problems from nappy rash to eczema. Its a type of barrier cream, really.
I have no idea what the equivalent is in Spain. Best bet is to take the empty pot intothe Pharmacy and ask them. What about E45 cream? Ive seen that in Spanish paharmacies.
E45 has some, similar ingredients:
Active Ingredients: White Soft Paraffin Bp 14.5% W/W, Light Liquid Paraffin Ph Eur 12.6% W/W,Hypoallergenic Anhydrous Lanolin (Medilanr) 1.0% W/W,Also Contains: Glyceryl Monostearate, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Cetostearyl Sulphate,Carbomer, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate, Purified Water
