Suma payment

Good morning just a quick question just had €269.00 taken from bank account for Suma no bill in the post also cannot seem to access on line.
I suspect this is for Rubbish collection which has more than doubled for less collections and overflowing bins everywhere. Thank you

IBI, council tax. bill. Rubbish collection in Rojales is one bill only one payment at around 120 euro or so in Mar to April time.

SUMA calendar has been posted many times along with posters all over the place informing you of the bill,

If you have a SUMA Bill from previous years have a look at it and you will see a line with "Numero fijo". That number is unique to you and never changes. You can access your bill using that number and your NIE no on the link below. Just click on "detalles" and your current bill will appear. At the end of the bill it will ask you do you want a pdf of the bill or do you want it sent by email. Just be aware you have a different numero fijo for your rates and waste collection.

IBI, impuesto sobre bienes inmuebles. The equivalent, as said, of annual council tax in UK. Based on the rateable value of your property. You know, like the one you pay in UK every month which is about the same as you pay for a year here.

Was just asking for clarification as we purchased the property recently thank you for the helpful response unfortunately there are always comments that are not necessary as usual.

If you purchased after 1st January this year the previous owner is liable for the IBI and waste charges.

Often but not always there is an allocation at the time of purchase to share the bill proportionally between seller and buyer. Perhaps check your purchase paperwork.
