Sunday Opening

As we often get the "what is open this Sunday" question, you'll be pleased to know that the shops that do open on Sundays will start from this weekend, the 16th of June.
Carrefour, Habaneras, Zenia Boulevard, Jumerca Gama and so on all open from this Sunday.
Lidl website say they open on Sundays from 29 June and the other supermarkets (Consum, Mas y Mas etc but not Mercadona) opens every Sunday in July, August and September.
Iceland will open Sundays from 23rd June so next week.

So if anyone asks if any supermarkets are open on Sundays you can now say yes.

They always do, even when they aren't. I think it's a generic thing and they just post Sunday and fiesta opening hours and they mean when they do open on those days, not that they will be open.
Mas y Mas has had open Sundays on their website all the way through when they haven't been open.

However, those open Sundays will start opening from tomorrow as I said.
