I have just been round that way with the dog. There is no billboard that mentions a new golf club. The large one just along the road is advertising a new restaurant and cocktail bar called 'Rame', which it says will be on floor 1a. But the golf club is not mentioned.

A while ago there were lots of rumours about a new golf clubhouse, hotel, in all sorts of places around the course. At lunch in the restaurant we asked the manager what was going on, and she said we don't know, no one does, so don't believe what anyone tells you.

A friend who is well in at the golf club told me that the current licencees of the restaurant won't vacate the lease without compensation of €2.5million.
