As we are doing this ourselves, we just want to double check about the padron. We have lived here since 2018 and not moved. The residencia cards show our current address and the latest date on our padrons is June 2020. Are we right in thinking that we don’t need to get current padrons to complete the TIE process?

How long did it take you to get the appointment? I have been trying for over 4wks, any tips ?
p.s. we are doing it ourselves too x

There were appointments available yesterday evening and this morning on the official site.
Both times for 3 different dates in about 10 days time.
Looking just after you posted and it has appointments available so get on quick.

No, you've probably got the right site. Tried again about 10 minutes after that last post and all gone. Seems very hit and miss as my neighbours tried yesterday evening and were offered 3 different dates. They didn't take them up but did it this morning and got appointments for another 3 different dates from the 24th of the month.

When I tried, there were still 2 dates available (26th and 27th) but they'd disappeared a short while later so looks like someone beat you to it.

Just a case of keep trying I think. Frustrating to say the least.

OK, my neighbour has had his initial interview for the TIE card and it all went well.
He's a bit worried now as he was told he must show a current passport (the same as the one he used for applying) when he goes back to collect the card.

Anyone know how long it is taking between the first application at Calle Ebanisteria and actually collecting the new card from Calle Campo de Mirra as he has just realised he only has 9 weeks left on his current passport. He is going to renew the passport but doesn't want to do so if it will cause a problem.

He could ap3p,y for a new passport as if doesnt3 matter if you collect the card later just make sure they ask for the old passport to be sent back which you can do. We have all our old passports.
I think somebody posted the week before last theirs took 5 weeks.

I went for my initial TIE appointment on the 25 March and was told it will be ready in 10 weeks although this is not hard and fast it seems and could be sooner, (or later)
You can check on the current lote number on the website and it's self explanatory.

I don't need an appointment but had a look out of curiosity. Is this the website for the appointments and do you have to keep inputting the same information on this website every time to get your appointment for TIE

https://sede.administracionespublicas.g ... io/icpplus

It kept saying none available and when you try to refresh the page it refuses. I feel sorry for anybody trying to make an appointment if that's what you have to do.

Collected our TIEs last Friday we were told 10 weeks at our first appointment but in reality it was 4 weeks, they have really uped their game and seem to be processing around 10+ numbers a week, http://www.lingomar.com will show the latest lote number , although it says updates Monday and Thursday it seems to be Thursday’s

I went this morning, got there 30 mins before our appointment, went in 15 mins before and was out 2 mins after my appointment. All plain sailing. The girl said the wait is 7 weeks but I shall check the site posted and we'll see. Even paying the 12 euros at the bank was a doddle, I went when it was peeing it down and there was nobody there, walked straight in, paid and straight out. Its not often something official here is plain sailing.

Appointments don't seem to be a problem for TIES. I've been on twice today and a few places available. None for Torrevieja just Alicante, Elche and Benidorm but definitely easier to get an appointment.
