TIN application

Sabadell bank has asked me for my Tax Identification Number. We live in NIreland and pay tax in the UK. However they will not accept my P60 with my National Insurance no but are asking for a PPS number which is used in Ireland for welfare and tax etc.
Has anyone else had experience of this

We had same request and discovered they mean your NIE No

Many thanks Bernie will try that as well. The frustrating thing is we were in the bank twice during our trip a week ago and have just paid our Wealth Tax.
The Spanish banking system is not easy to work with!
