Travelling to Quesada

Re: Travelling to Quesada

The 2008 bankers crisis devastated Spain, particularly inland. Spain had not recovered from the effects of that, with high unemployment.
Against what's happening today, 2008 could appear a mere blip.
I think many of us will visit our favourite restaurants etc. and find them closed.
This is a tragedy for families who've lost loved ones and for those who have lost their livelihoods. We'll see the true effects of this devilvirus when we are unlocked.

They are having to prioritise I suppose, look after the younger ones. Hard decision but got to be done, they just haven't got enough to go around.

Sorry I didn't mention that we have a house already in Spain. We both have NIE numbers but not residency. As our UK property is now sold our Spanish house is our main residence.
Does this change things

You're not a resident without residencia and I believe they are the only ones allowed across the border

From the Immigration Spain website regarding the Coronavirus pandemic:
Can I travel and enter Spain if I am abroad?
Only those who are Spanish nationals (or residents) will be able to come back to their origin country, where they will be attended.

No. You have not got Spanish resident rights. So you will not be allowed entry to Spain. You currently have no right to be given access as to all intents and purposes you are a UK resident. In normal circumstances you would be moving over, making an appointment with the National Police, and assuming you met all the requirements, gaining an EU residents card that could be used in future blah blah, even post Brexit, blah. But the world has recently been turned on its head and normal circumstances no longer apply, anywhere. You surely must have realised that? Hopefully within a few months we'll all have a bit more freedom of movement, but you really need to find somewhere to stay in UK until then.
