U.K. mini budget
Re: U.K. mini budget

There were over 60 red wall marginal seats last time. People voted FOR Brexit For Boris and AGAINST Corbin.
The country has changed since then. Who thinks the same 60 will be Tory again?
If the Tory party wanted to lose the next election they could not do better than what they are doing now.

Red / blue, it doesn't matter. Both cheeks on the same arse. Haven't people figured that out by now? And the BOE are a private entity and a law upon to themselves.

Nicely dodged the question there Steve.
Who do you think should run the UK?.. Tories? Labour? Lib Dems?
Or would you rather have someone from the New World Order?... Maybe Trump?.. Maybe Putin?
Go on.. who do you think would be best to lead the UK?
..

Well some of us think that the Tory party are doing ok. It really depends on how the current situation affects us as individuals and I'm not to badly affected, personally. Given the choice will be between Labour & Conservative ( can't see the Lib Dems in the running).....there is no way I'm going to be voting Labour in 2024.

If everything is so wrong and you KNOW this, then surely the answer must be to reverse all of the changes made on Friday?
So...leave NI as it was, rather than reverse the previous increase...puts £0 in the pay packets.
INCREASE basic rate of tax from 20% to 21% as planned, rather than reducing to 19%...takes money OUT of pay packets.
INCREASE corporation tax by 1.25% as planned, so businesses have to pay 20.25% on their profits rather than 19%. Takes money OUT of businesses.
Meanwhile, prices are still going up. Fuel costs are still going up (although don't tell British Gas, who have just REDUCED my dual-fuel DD by £39 a month...and don't tell Iberdrola, who REDUCED my electricity bill by €26 a month in March, and have reduced it again by €4 a month in September). But people have less money in their pockets to pay for it.
Happier now?
If you're really that concerned, and the problem is SO easy to sort out, then why not sell up in Spain - potentially (given the exchange rate) for a fantastic GBP return...and return to the UK, and see if you can stand as an MP?
