U.K. mini budget

Today, with the mini budget , the conservative government basically resigned themselves to the opposition benches at the next general election whenever it happens. This was not a vote winning budget. Meagre savings for the less well off, no help for pensioners but big bonuses for the rich and powerful. The ordinary people, of which I am one will not put up with this elitism for much longer.

Has this forum not got a politics section.

I posted it in the ‘general discussion’ section. You read it and you discussed it. Can’t see that there are any loose ends there.

I am certain the Tories know they have lost the next election, and indeed don't want to win it.

They will be happy to give the mess to the Labour Party to sort out.

God help us all.

This so called mini budget is suicide I'm afraid, just like Lawson's in the late 80's.

Glad I'm living in Spain.

DON’T YOU JUST LOVE THIS GOVERNMENT AND THE BANK OF ENGLAND?

In the short time this Tory government has left, they’re doing their utmost to, enrich their wealthy supporters, at the expense of the other 99% of the population

I agree with Mr A ..... no use to the normal chap on the street whatsoever.... I won't vote for them and I won't vote for the other shower of s**t .... so it's off to sunny Spain for good me thinks !!!!
