unvaccinated residents

"A study recently released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) demonstrated just how nonlinear this relationship is. The vast majority—78%—of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 were overweight or had obesity. The numbers for intensive care, invasive mechanical ventilation and death were nearly the same"
Are these people being singled out as being irresponsible too?

They should be, unless caused by a genuine medical condition. The same goes for smokers, alcoholics and drug users as these are all self inflicted, but already cost the medical facilities millions every year.

And don't say that all obesity is hormone or medical related.
You are what you eat.
Just look at Belsen. No food and no over weight people there. Its a sad example but proves the argument.

Some of them may have just had a coffee, some a beer. Some may be watching Coronation Street. No one suggests that having a coffee, beer Coronation Street caused the stroke.
But if the random stroke comes after a jab many blame the jab.
How silly is that?
.
Unfortunately this occurence isn't just a one off and has been documented quite well online so not that silly.. Obviously I don't have definitive proof it was caused by anything in particular, but questions have to be raised, especially seeing as he was so fit for his age.

Because the goverment have already planted the seed that you could die from covid,
And insurance companys know that it will freighten people into buying life insurance just in case,so they on win win, because more people will buy than will die ,

So here we are back at work over 90 patients in my hospital 70% unvaccinated the rest some full some part.. age from 35 up.. 54 have other health issues .. others non.. most on resp ward and medical wards needing 02 and meds.. so this disease effects all people. To say only sick or old so wrong.. there have been children in to.. we all need to take up the jab.. it to me obviously works as less in itu and less admitted but still seeing high numbers attend.. people out to have a jab go to some holidays indeed some country's its mandatory those that go do not say no to that jab.. if it becomes the norm to only be able to travel if vaccinated so be it.. if u choose not then tgats Yr choice just don't moan if not go away..

There certainly are. Just goes to show the importance of taking precautions.
However (there's always a however) the Valencia Region does give figures on those vaccinated vs unvaccinated which UK seems reluctant to publish.
At the beginning of this month, in the Valencia Region there were 31 admittances to ICU. Of those, 21 were unvaccinated which is about a 60/40 split.
So, yes, you are right that vaccinated are in hospital beds as well. Thing is, this region has well over 90% double vaccinated. That means the double vaccinated are being admitted to ICU at a rate of 0.24 per 100,000 of the population. The unvaccinated, less than 10% of the population, are being admitted to ICU at the rate of 4.5 per 100,000. I make that an 18.7 times greater chance of hitting the ICU for the unvaccinated.
Currently 198 in ICU in the Valencia Region. Of those, 135 are unvaccinated which is around 68%, 60 have had at least one or two vaccines. Only 3 have been admitted with the booster vaccine and the ages of those 3 ranges from 84 to 97.
All these figures are freely available in various Spanish newspapers.

Oops, that’s an inconvenient stat for the deniers and antivaxxers

All them stats it beyond me,better off avoiding crowds vax or no vax ,plenty fresh air keeping yourself to yourself, wear your mask if in close proximity to others always carry hand jelly, what else can one do?
The vaxxed n the boosters are still spreading &getting it
The un vaxxed are still spreading and getting it,
So the choice should be yours
Look at if this way you had your vaxs and booster but you catch covid ,
Is the vax working??????
Doesn't appear so,
Going on a flite?
Known of many flown to uk before xmas taken and paid for test to fly and day 2 test when in uk, then a few days later get contacted by track n trace to say you been in contact with a covid carrier?
How can that be so if you had a negative test to fly like everyone else on the flight?
