The honesty in digital website has counted 12 worldwide sites where fake news on the covid virus originate from. The have been called the disinformation dozen and most have roots in E European countries.
The sites are picked up on and repeated on social media but 70% of the misinformation originates from them.
In your post, rfh40, you have repeated at least 8 of the false claims that start on these sites.
Are you part of the disinformation dozen or just get some kick out of repeating the stories they make up?

You're making out doctors4covid is a government site? Really?
Get real. It's been debunked many times and reads things out of context.

No. You could test negative at 1pm on Monday, and be positive at 1:05pm.
How do you know this please?
According to WHO it needs to incubate more than 5mins.but surely as a responsible person once leaving the testing zone masking up hand gelling, only keeping your own company not mixing with others ,how can you be positive 5mins later??????
We all know this.
3 years ago, the chances are NONE of us had Covid.
At some point - at a specific time on a specific day, probably in 2019, someone became positive.
1 second earlier, they were negative.
If something takes 7 days to show up, then on day 6 you'd be negative, and on day 7 you'd be negative.
If I'm wrong, please let me know.

This is an interesting document, from the Office of National Statistics. Puts a very different perspective on things.

Now look into the figures a bit further. The number of 17,300 or so are those who have died for no other reason than the virus.
What about someone with a heart problem who is coping very well by just taking low dose aspirin once a day. Then the virus gets them and the low dose no longer protects them and they die.
Or a diabetic on insulin who is coping very well until the virus gets them and makes the insulin not as effective and they die.
So what actually killed them? The virus or the underlying disease?
This is why the ONS collates the figures in slow time after the daily, very quick, results which do include those with the virus.
The later figures show the ones that died because the virus exacerbated the problem and contributed to the death, hence due to.
Total figures of those dying with the virus is 173,000. Total figures for those whose underlying problem killed them is 21,000 and the collated figure of 152,000 is those who died due to the virus or because of it.
Again, back to writing people off with underlying causes just because it seems it's their fault they had one. Not a very nice thing to do, to be honest. Seems this virus brings out the worst in people.
My son in law has a serious heart condition which necessitated triple (or is it quadruple nowadays) bypass. I dread if he gets the virus. He lives a normal life, has to have GTN spray but does everything he did before. If he gets the virus he'll know it may kill him. I suppose many of the doom sayers will simply write him off as a statistic and say he died of heart disease which may not be true.

The stats that the gov use are persons who have died within 28 days of a positive covid test.
Your man with mild heart disease tests positive. He may be asymptomatic or fairly ill. He recovers and within a week tests negative. 3 weeks later he passes away. Would that be of covid, with covid or is there another option? I dont know?

That's where I'm confused.
If I test positive for Covid, and 3 weeks later I die in a plane crash, how is it recorded?
If I'm Type 1 diabetic and get a positive Covid diagnosis, then 3 weeks later I inject myself with 10 times my required insulin dosage and die, how is it recorded?

Oh, come on. Stop making things up and see how they do it. Already mentioned loads of times.
If you die in a plane crash the cause of death will be trauma or something.
The straw men who make these things up are simply lying as Part 1 of the death certificate will not show covid as an exacerbating cause. Part 2 will maybe show covid as a secondary source but not a contributory cause. ONS will not record it as "due to".
Same with overdosing on insulin. Part 1 will show that as the cause of death not covid.
All these looney comments pages and social media sites simply state something and people repeat it over and over until they believe it.
That bus that follows people around who have tested positive (it's always mentioned) to run them over will not have covid on the death cert. Nor those half a dozen people who fall off ladders which is another thing mentioned. Likewise, nor will dying of flu or pneumonia be recorded as a covid death.
That's it. I'm out of here as the hypothetical and made up rubbish is getting ridiculous. Those doctors and other health professionals know far more than any of the rubbish being spouted.
Carry on making things up, reading rubbish fake news, believing things Karen told you on Facebook whilst ignoring the professionals. If it fills someone's otherwise lonely day then carry on.
