Are there restrictions in place regarding unvaccinated residents returning to Spain from the UK?

Don’t think Spain are allowing entry from UK without proof of vaccination. However, I’m not certain if the same applies if you are Spanish residents. I’m sure someone on this forum will provide more definitive and accurate advice soon.

As a Spanish Resident or EU National you must have one of these if you don't have a Covid Vaccine Cert:
a 72hr Negative PCR Certificate
A 48hr Negative Antigen test
Or a recovery Cert

I think Spain should follow the lead of some countries who have made vaccination compulsory and unvacinated get fined every year and need to pay for any later covid related illnesses themselves.

Totally agree. I also think those serving the public should be vaccinated. We have to show our covid passports so those serving us should be vaccinated. No jab, no job.

A bit brutal and a little contradictory to your usual stance of, “We should learn to live with it”

I still believe we need to learn to live with Covid. But getting vaccinated is indeed part of learning tolive with it, just the same as the other vaccinations most of us have had over the years.

I struggle to understand how, if the vaccine is as effective as people appear to believe it is, how an unvaccinated person is a threat to you?? Surely you are protected?
