Urgent appeal for kitten food torrevieja animal shelter

Yesterday we took in 5 new kittens and a further 7 arrived this morning!!Also 2 returned from a foster home.
We are again overwhelmed,and now have 70 cats and kittens in the shelter which could comfortably accommodate probably only half that number.
The town hall sadly doesn't appreciate how much cats eat ( or how much comes out the other end!)and do not give us enough food or litter.Our last delivery was as pictured !!!
We do our best ,but we can't work miracles and are unable to feed 70+ with that meagre amount.
We keep nagging the town hall for more and hope one day to have an animal welfare officer who actually cares about animals
Meanwhile, I'm sorry but we are having to beg for your help yet again ..we do appreciate and use everything that comes in ..
If you want to donate any thing vetapet near aldi quesada we take for us or drop it into the shelter any morning..or contact me ..thanks

If anybody lives on an urbanisation and has a Facebook group like we do, repost on there. I've just done that any already 2 people have offered to donate.

We would like to help, certainly will put some cat food aside in Veterpet midday today. Do you need any bedding, towels, or similar as well , or is it just food. ?

Towel and smaller bedding also for dogs and cats ..some are cut up to use as cleaning cloths..so don't have to be perfect..

Terry do Veterpet sell the usual kitten food themselves? Sometimes the vets just stock special diet foods etc. Asking because it would be handy to ring and use them to supply a donation.

They do some pouches of felix a few other dried foods but also the more expensive stiff ..
Or I could pick up to save you driving to shelter if you wish to buy from supermarkets ect ..thanks

Hello Terry! so pleased you put out this appeal....we have been up to the shelter this morning, taken kitten food, cat
food, towels & 2 hard plastic paddling pools for the dogs to use.....lots of others were there to donating, im sure it was due to your post! thankyou again for bringing it to everyones attention....
