WATER BILL PAYMENT FOR RUBBISH COLLECTION

I note from my last water bill with HiDRAQUA that the charge for rubbish (basura) has been removed.
I contacted HiDRAQUA by email on the 6^th March; however I have yet to receive any response.
Does anyone know how we are going to pay for this facility in future?

your basura will now go out of your bank twice a year march and september,in my case.they separated from the water bill last year.keep checking your bank.

Good morning, If it's the case they are going to take bin charges twice yearly,shouldn't we be informed as such by the water company,if it's not a legal requirement,surely it's a courteous one[i know it's Spain].

mine was about 25-30e twice a year,last year.60odd euro a year not bad that.suma collects from the same account as your water bill.

We have just paid our rubbish collection bill it was 75 euros for the year. Rojalas area

Hi everyone advice please.
Checked my online Spanish Bank today as noticed our water bill was less in February and have noted the comments regarding the change of billing for the basura. Tomorrow my account is being debited 78.36 for SUMA GESTION TRIBUTARIA. Popped into the Bank but they cannot tell me what it is for until it has been taken out of the account. My guess is that it is the basura charge which was around 19.59 a quarter. I presume they are now going to charge annually?

The rubbish collection tax went up last year to 51 euros in Rojales so the 25 to 30 euro twice a year as quoted by dennisthemenace sounds about right.
Are these bills for 75 to 78 euros definitely for rubbish collection as the non-resident tax is also due about this time?
I haven't had a rubbish tax bill yet and would have thought they would have been collected at the same time but my water bill from a couple of weeks ago was the first one without the rubbish collection part of it.

They have separated water and rubbish but not sure when collected.
