Weird suspicious looking men

I was out on my motorbike today with my girlfriend as pillion, just cruising around exploring the area.

I always turn down random little roads, typically stopping to say hello to and pat stray cats.

We turned off a roundabout and realised it was an entrance to a car park and what seemed like a viewpoint. So I drove in and then immediately noticed that there were cars parked in a weird manner, not organised or lined up, but on the edges and I noticed every one of them had a man in the front seat, with the door open and they were all staring as we drove in. I am very streetwise and always notice even the slightest thing that's abnormal, but as I was turning around to just leave and not get off, my girlfriend said "OMG this is weird, why is everyone staring like this, they're creepy men!"


She never notices stuff like that, I'm always pointing out unusual things as we explore about the place.

So what did we stumble upon? I have attached a screenshot and circled the car park. No doubt its well known given how many of them were parked up.

It's a popular dogging spot, likely that. Not sure if it is too popular over here but quite big back home!

Maybe looking at this or fireworks

There was properly suspicious. The entire thing was bizarre, they were not looking at fireworks thats for sure. Perhaps looking to have some fireworks in the bushes all round.

I checked on google maps reviews after posting this and see multiple comments from people over the years about "lonely old men" and "gay spot", so I think we have the answer.

I realised very early in my days of living here it is a place for gays to meet likewise Not dogging purely men.

OMG! Myself & Mrs parked up there many times to admire the view over the Med. We don’t even have a dog lol!

this post is hilarious. About 5 years ago we parked up there and felt very uncomfortable, it was odd. So I’m not surprised to read these comments.

Same happened to me a couple of years back at same spot.
I drove in and got out of my car and heard all the other cars open their doors - all single men- I suspect they were cruising(?), so I got back in car and drove off.
