If you decide to visit the Caves in Rojales don't forget the Shell House nearby. We were extremely lucky once when we took visitors because the Owner showed us around inside. Amazing place.

Mini golf, go karts, a trip to Cartagena. Catamaran, Roman amphitheater, the excavated Roman baths and market square, lovely place, they also rope walks down there. How far do you want to travel?

On your way back from Cartagena, take the mountain route over to Portman. The hills still have loads of different metals in them. It is here that the Romans came for the metal to make their swords and armour, hence why there is a collosium in Catagena. The mountains are also volcanic, so the beach at Portman is black sand. The sea there is not as rough as in other areas, so its good for swimming.

And it is the most polluted/hazardous area in Europe the Spanish have been told to clean it up ,but they haven't the funds , interesting area tho , the bay at Portland has been completely filled in with the mineral runoff and mine tailings . There is a little bar at the far end which is a little different .

If you are up to it , the 10inch Vickers guns on the cliffs overlooking the harbour are worth a trip , as is the gold that Odysey had to hand back , that's in the museum down on the quayside .

Yes, i was going to suggest this for something very different, but isn't it called The MOROCCAN Tea Room?
Or are they 2 different places?

Good luck with finding it
T
