Why would someone do such a thing.

It is a sad world that people get enjoyment out of this but the Police must be called as a stray pellet from a gun could kill a child blind someone or cause huge problems.
With all the banging and fireworks sadly I guess the shots are hidden. My neighbours daughter nearly died being shot with a stray pellet. This is serious stuff.

Hi All...an update...The cat in question (she) is being nursed and fed by my Son and his cat loving partner. The aim is to get the cat strong enough to be able to undergo whatever procedure the specialist Vet recommends. My Spanish neighbour and her son have made inquiries and have got together some evidence of Cat shootings and poisoning in the vicinity...they intend to report the problem to the police...We will see what if anything comes of it all...Thank you for your messages...more as it becomes available.

Hi..All..The cat has been back to the vet to have blood tests...all ok there...no nasty pussycat diseases. However she is still anaemic and cannot be operated on until she is stronger...Oh and the vet found that she has a broken tooth as well...she is back at my Sons house and being looked after until a decision is taken what treatment if any will take place.
