XE money transfer

If the transfer is in Euros Sabadell will charge 0.35 % Minimum €18.00 to accept money into an Expansion Account. I have the bruises to prove it.

not correct as long as it comes from an EU iban there are no recieving charges but you would be better off getting a Sabadell Premier Expansion Account on which there are no fees or charges

I use both Wise and XE and play one off against the other. Yes Wise have had better exchange fees recently but that is not always the case. XE can be cheaper but as another poster has said they are not quick; the benefit with XE is that you are getting the current rate at that moment in time. Both companies are good.

In my experience XE transfer funds the following day, if not it’s within 48 hours

When using Wise for a straight transfer from GBP in UK to € in Spain, yes they do quote a charge. However, if you see how many €´s you get in your Spanish bank account compared to other FX companies with no charge, I believe that you usually get more with Wise.
If you have a multi currency account with Wise and transfer €´s into your Spanish account, the charge is 0.28€ per transfer, regardless of amount.

yes I do all my transfers from my Wise debit card account

Thankyou everyone for all your advice & comments. I actually transferred 500€ into Sabadell from XE yesterday & it went in the same day. Exchange rate was good & Sabadell haven’t charged anything for receiving (so far! )
