Chino Lu - urb. Pueblo Lucero

We had rather forgotten this restaurant at the Rojales end of the Quesada golf course (above Ronald's) and the former Perla Roja, until it was recommended by friends a couple of weeks ago. It is excellent - the food is very good, friendly staff - and because the ceilings are low and tiled with something that absorbs sound - it's blissfully quiet! Anyone else with hearing aids will know my problem. The walls are some sort of fake bamboo which also helps! We've been three times now in the last fortnight and can thoroughly recommend it.

That’s the first Chinese we visited when we first came to Quesada. I think it was called the Marquesa then and we couldn’t get over how cheap it was compared to The Chinese restaurants in England. We still go now and then and still enjoy it.

Yes we went for the first time last week. We like most of the Chinese restaurants in the Quesada area and were pleased with the bill and the food, definitely value for money 16 euros for both of us 3 courses and a drink !

What's the official name of this restaurant? I've just googled Chino Lu and it doesn't come up with anything.

It might still be the Thailande or La Marquesa! But it has Chino Lu on the menu and outside. It's easy to find, literally opposite the very end of the golf course, and easy parking up the hill behind it.

Has anyone been to the Chinese buffet in Dona Pepa near Consuum, just wondered how they are operating with the new restrictions, we used to go regularly.

The Chino Lu is one of our favourites, unfortunately never very busy, but we think it is because it is not close by the other bars/restaurants at Quesada Golf, always a real favourite of our family when visiting, food is excellent and competitely priced. Well worth a visit.
