Help - bars

Postby Red Rock » Mon Apr 16, 2018 1:09 pm

Fellow Talkers

My wife spends a lot of time in the UK so can anyone recommend a nice bar where a lone drinker can spend a pleasant hour or so having a bite to eat and a couple of drinks and a bit of conversation. I am based near Canales but can walk to town or Dona Pepa in under half an hour so no areas ruled out just need it to be a friendly place.

Thanks

Jollys bar beside Canales is an ok wee bar, reasonable prices, nice food, nothing flashy but ok to pass a couple of hours/

JR's Country Club (used to be Quesada Country Club) has a decent bar area with tv's, a pool table and often a few people sat at the bar on their own. They also do excellent food.

Sitting outside around the pool is great for people watching :)

Nice one Mike.
Normally we go out together but when she is away you feel a bit of a lemon on your own.
Is Coopers in Dona Pepa ?
