Hot Stones Restaurant El Raso

Can anyone tell me if this restaurant is worth a visit as my husband is very keen to go out for a steak but so far we have been disappointed with the steakhouses we have tried. Thanks

Hi Ali,if you want a steak there,my experience is that it comes out on a hot stone, hence continues to cook whilst you eat it,i.e. if you order it medium rare,by the time you are half way through it is well done, also consider the heat given off by the stone,in this weather,it was a very hot experience.
Yellow Rose,every time,book though.

Try La Caballeria in Guardamar. Bit pricey but WELL worth it.

Hi Dan, We keep forgetting that the Yellow Rose of Texas does steaks as we always associate it with Mexican cuisine. When the season calms down a bit we will be in for a bite. Hi Scubydoo yes we have tried the Patagonia and to be honest we were underwhelmed. Hi Sharon thanks we love Guardamar so will give La Caballeria a try.

The best steak I've had in Quesada is at Laurel and Hardy, could have cut it with a butter knife!!

Oscars do an excellent steak, but be aware the chef takes the French view of 'rareness', so I order Medium, to get what I'd usually call Medium-Rare :)
