La Finca de la Vuelta

Postby dingbat » Sun Feb 02, 2014 2:28 pm

I know this might be just outside the usual limits of Quesada but, we went to La Finca De la Vuelta in Guardamar & had a wonderful meal cooked by a Michelin stared chef. There were 2 spanish singers there who were brilliant, who sang songs of many nationalities as well as rock, pop disco, classic & opera. They sing in El Mondo's in Benimar every Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is moving to bigger premises Formentera opening on March 11th. We had the best night out we have ever had in Spain. When they found out that it was our wedding anniversary, the 2 male singers, called Luna Bella, gave us a DVD of their performance at the Banidorm Palace. A great night night out without breaking the bank!!:D :lol:

This used to be The Country Cook-In; sad to see the English couple leave. New owners (Dutch) have transformed it apparently. Address is Colada de los Palacios 59. Tel 966727559. Have been told they open at 4pm. Not been ourselves yet but have heard very good reports. For those of you who use Facebook, their page is Finca La Vuelta. lots of pics of their opening day.

Took a trip out to the restaurant this afternoon. Unfortunately it only opens in the evening but looks very nice.
Bit tricky to find although there are signs. Make sure you take the right exit off the roundabout

have been a regular at La Vuelta in Guardamar for Eight Years ,always had the opinion that it was the best restauarant in the area.,The place in Guardamar was let down only by its position(at the bottom of high rise apartments).I went to the new place last Friday, the place now matches the food ,both excellent. someone has posted that this was a restaurant previously, well this place looks to have been a farm as the restaurant has still got the Cow feeding managers left in the decor. a great night ,great food and although slightly different a very nice place.

La Vuelta

Six of us went there on Saturday night. It was packed to the gunnels with people.

It´s a lovely venue, with a beautiful outside area if you are so inclined. The food was excellent and the staff delightful. It is not a place to go in a rush or if you are on a budget, because it´s not cheap. However, for a special occasion, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

It has a website - restaurantlavuelta.com. On the website, you will find the current menu´s and prices and also location details. They have a huge car park as well.

I Concur.

We have been a couple of times now, probably the best restaurant we have been to within the Quesada area.

Cheers

We used to go to the one in Guardamar, which was good, but that has now closed. The Finca sounds lovely.

We have all the details and location map on here for anyone who needs it - click below:
