New bar - Olive Bar and Kitchen - Pueblo Bravo

Postby Jan » Thu Nov 27, 2014 4:11 pm

Went to the Olive Bar and Kitchen today. It's a much needed new bar in the area and only opened two weeks ago ( November 2014) in Pueblo Bravo, near the Budapest Restaurant and only a stones throw from the Hotel Laguna area of Dona Pepa. They have taken over the Forest Bar premises and have an attractive seating area outside and inside.

They serve very reasonably priced food - For photos of menu's and boards showing what they serve and location maps etc, see Olive Bar and Kitchen - Pueblo Bravo - Ciudad Quesada in our restaurants section.

They also have daily 'specials'.

We had a very good sandwich, served with home-made coleslaw, fresh dressed salad and crisps for only 3 euros.

Nice people - We will certainly go there again! Great charity shop next door too (DEBRA charity!)

Rather disappointed I'm afraid we went tonight just after 7pm as the reviews were good only to told they were not serving food -- left disappointed & hungry!

Sorry to hear this glosman - I have looked at the menu board (below) and only just noticed that it says "Food available Monday to Saturday 10am to 3pm / Evening 6pm to 9pm Monday and Wednesday only". It's right at the bottom which isn't terribly clear but thanks for telling us - I will put it on the details so that others won't go there and be disappointed.
