the one in Los Montesinos, ,appears a lot brighter and more Mexican and is on the main road at the first mini roundabout as you enter the village from the hotel/big ferriateria end about 1km futher on ,

We went to El Tayo the first week it opened and weren't that impressed, but we've been back a couple of times since and they've obviously taken feedback onboard. They now do two steak dishes, one of them being a fillet kebab, so my Oracle's pleased, bless her!

El Tayo is a partnership between La Vuelta and Plaza Differente. The portions are enormous, so the food is actually good value for money, but in typical La Vuelta style, it's the drink prices that push up your final bill. If you're wine drinkers, buy a bottle and if you don't drink it all, take the rest home.
