Paella in or around Quesada

We are travelling out to Quesada for 10 days on Monday. So far we have not been able to find a restaurant with a good Spanish paella in the area or surrounding towns. We have been to El Maite but they did not have paella when we were there.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

This Small family run bar is just great lots of typical Spanish Tapas, several different types of Paella all freshly cooked and served in the large pan they are cooked in, the portion is for one person but you could easily share one as they are not small!,

Hi, Guardamar down at the fisherman's cottages along the beach fab paella all kinds seafood, chicken,veg..

Thanks Dot. Am not 100% sure where the fisherman's cottages are. Is this anywhere near the main beach front with the restaurants on the beach front? When there I have not seen any cottages or similar.

Edit: Google is your friend! Would this be the Playa de la Babilonia area? If so does anyone have recommendations as to where to park?

Hi, if you go to the end of the beach where the houses are and walk along towards the park the restaurant is down the first opening facing the sea.

JeremyB the restaurant Dot is recommending is called Jaime Playa and is excellent with a great setting provided wind not blowing!
You can park right beside it but be careful as it's a pay and display area.
To drive to it go along Guardamar Main Street coming from the Torrevieja direction.
You will come to a set of traffic lights just before the church on the left and the town hall can be seen on the right.
Take right here and drive down to the beach where you will find the restaurant.
It's not always open this time of the year but as Dot says it's well worth a visit.
