Recommendation for Half-Way House Restaurant

Postby mikeyjenkins » Thu Dec 25, 2014 9:31 pm

Went to Half-Way House for Xmas Dinner on 25th...and it was brilliant!...excellent food, great service and good atmosphere. Recommend it to anybody. If you don't know where it is, it's on Los Arcos, sharp left just before the arches, on the right-hand corner just passed the garage.

We have started using the halfway house quite a lot over the last few months after defecting from another place close by as the service was so bad. Great for just a coffee or a snack always a seat in the sun outside if you want one. The menu del dia is great value at 2 courses for €5.50 you can chose from either a starter or dessert. They do evening menu three courses for €7.90 not tried yet but if the menu del dia us anything to go by it will be good. always get a nice welcome and a smile which is sometimes lacking in a few places out here.

Following recommendations on here we visited the Half way house for the first time today. The service was excellent and the quality of food was outstanding. The price was reasonable too. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back there. Enjoy.

Always good to get a recommendation like that.

We have often heard good things about the Halfway House Bar & Restaurantand although we've been to the Quiz there, with its free buffet, we haven't eaten a meal there yet - Must try it next time!

We used the Halfway House for breakfast on a few occasions and 3 course dinner once during a recent visit to the area. Service on all occasions was impeccable, food was very very good and we'll use regularly on future trips. 5/5
