Recommendation for Hamiltons Bake House

Postby anninspain » Mon Mar 03, 2014 10:40 am

Has anybody put a recommend on here for Hamiltons Bake House in Benijofar. I can't recommend it highly enough. They have fantastic bread, rolls and cakes baked fresh every day and are 'to die for'. They also have a selection of snacks and fresh soup daily, served by great friendly staff. This place has to come with a health warning - once you have found it - the waistline may suffer just a little.

Hamiltons is the last unit in the right hand side as you leave the village heading towards Algorfa.
As we are fans of all cake and coffee houses we had to try it when it opened.
We have been back many times since and take all of our friends when they are in Spain. The cakes are fab especially the banana and cranberry loaf, the teacakes are huge and 2 for €1 when you have a takeaway.
Had an enormous cappuchino and a bacon roll last time we went with friends from Kent and still found room for a cake afterwards, well it was brunch !
Be warned Tuesdays are very busy as it is market day in the village and it can get swamped !

We have only recently found Hamiltons and on our second visit discovered that neither of us had any cash. My missus asked if they took plastic and was told don't worry have what you want and pay the next time you are passing but dont make a special trip.
Needless to say we are now regulars. Everything they produce is of the highest quality and delivered by the nicest people, especially the Scottish side of it. :text-lol:
