Recommendation for the Alibaba restaurant
by Jordy » Fri Jan 30, 2015 7:36 pm
Having read a recommendation on this forum re the new Chinese/Thai/Japanese style restaurant over by the La Marquesa golf course,
we & a couple of friends decided to give it a try last night.
We did not book in advance but were treated like royalty when we walked in through the door. The young ladies who were waitressing where very attentive throughout the evening & the food was delicious. To top the evening off, we were informed on arrival that all drinks were free during January due to them just opening & wanting to welcome new customers. Last day for that is tomorrow. The four of us ate seperated meals & the bill came to less than 35 euros. We drank 3 bottles of wine & because the till wouldn't print out a bill they wrote it by hand & by way of apology gave us another 2 bottles of wine (white rioja) to take home. Fantastic.
They gave us a flyer on the way out informing us of the Chinese New Year celebrations on 18th February. Chinese banquet for 18 euros per person or 28 euros with all drinks included. Should be a good night. Fireworks, party bag, raffle & other stuff all part of the night.
We'll be giving them another visit soon.

Hi Jordy,
Thank for this great recommendation. We will put the details for this restaurant in our restaurants section soon.
Did you get given a business card, if so can you give us the details? Also, if possible, could you put a copy of the Flyer on here for the Chinese New Year?

Have just visited this place for the second time and it's fantastic. The food seems more
tasty than other Chinese in the area. We now visit every Friday.

We had lunch here last week. Excellent meal. I had the Chinese menu del dia 7.95 and my husband the Thai menu del dia 8.95. Will definitely be returning soon. Very tasty food. Shame it wasn't busier. Recommended.

for your recommendation.
I always hope that our recommendations bring more people into these restaurants as none of us like to see restaurants we enjoy with hardly anyone in them.
